If the donator of the equipment would like a tax receipt for the equipment, Soundbox will issue a Fair Market Value estimate on the equipment. Absolute will then issue the tax receipt for the value of the donation.

Shipping overseas can get complicated. With the customs and infrastructure of many of these countries, it is nearly impossible to ship many small items. It is typical to build up a large inventory of equipment to fill one large shipping container and ship all at once. Usually the equipment will ship over within 6 months of donation.

We have numerous professional technicians that travel overseas to help train and install the equipment at various times throughout the year. If you are a technician that is wiling to help out, please feel free to contract us.

When equipment is donated, Tech Equip has the equipment serviced at no cost at Soundbox Productions. (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) The equipment is then passed onto Absolute. Absolute talks with their contacts around the world to decide where it would be best suited. There are contacts in various places in third world countries to receive the equipment and place it into venues that can use it for the benefit of the local communities.
